25 Drinks: Ice Wine

On December 10 the advent box brought us a Les Bourgeois Vidal Blanc late-harvest wine. I was so delicate and delicious. It had vanilla notes. It was floral and earthy, not too sweet. The light taste of pineapple added some lift to this silky wine.

It was a nice shift from stouts and that boozy port. It's a nice reminder to spice it up during the season. Don't be afraid to bring a crisp white wine or a session ale to a winter party.
