Milk Stout (Left Hand Brewing Company)
This is one of those old standards I'm revisiting. This one was bottled a few months ago (May 26). They have/used to have this on tap at Barley's Brewhaus I bought a pack of these to compare with this year's release of Three Floyd's Moloko (Milk Stout). Right now it tastes more creamy and roasted to me than Moloko.
From the Left Hand site:
"Milk sugar in your stout is like cream in your coffee. Dark and delicious, America's great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Udderly delightful. Preconceived notions are blinders on the road to enlightenment."
They changed the label, but it's just as good.
General Comments: Nice and dark. Creamy and roasted. Just what a milk stout should be.
