Brandy Barrel Aged Alpha Klaus (Three Floyds)
I enjoyed this one last season, and have already had the pleasure of a couple of glasses this season. This is a nice and heavy holiday porter. Last year at the pub they had goat cheese crepes with cherries and a sauce made with this brew....heaven.

General Thoughts: Poured with a nice thick head that took a bit to settle. So aromatic you could smell it from where it sat. You can smell and taste the brandy full-on, not masked by anything. One of my drinking companions at one time said that this added a medicinal quality to the drink. It is very nice and tart. You don't get the sweetness that you get with some brandy BA brews. You taste the dark fruit. Another of my drinking companions could not get past the cherry. This beer warms up nicely.
