Hell's Black Intelligencer (Three Floyds)

I sat down to a lovely mug of this oatmeal stout brewed with Intelligentsia coffee when I went to Three Floyds last week. This was a beautiful brew.

From the Three Floyds menu:
"An oatmeal stout brewed with Intelligentsia Coffee, 'Richard yet lives, hell's black intelligencer.' -Queen Margret, Richard III- W.S."

General Thoughts: Coffee, coffee, coffee...as it should be. Smells like it, looks like it, and tastes like it, but better. It was like cold coffee, but not bad. It had all the bitter goodness of a great beer or coffee. Not incredibly thick and not incredibly overpowering. The aftertaste was lighter than a strong and bitter coffee would be. Great brew.
