Cortez (Three Floyds)
This was a new brew on tap at Three Floyds. Seemed like it would be nice simple and clean beer.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: The light head lingered. It was gold-amber in the light at the bar. You could smell the light hops.
Taste: It was sweeter than expected. You could taste the malts over the hops. I think I'm just used to super heavy hops. It had a bit of citrus/acid taste to it. It was as simple as expected. A decent light brew. I may or may not order it again.
From the menu:
This is a medium bodied, single hop pale ale showcasing the American hop variety, El Dorado.
