Today's Adventure: Snow Day
Weather has been rocking the nation. Yes, weather. Not really strange weather, because it's winter, and blizzards are known to happen in winter. Not terrible weather, because while 2' of snow is a good amount, it's not unheard of.
Really what we have here is a bunch of people who get to stay home and think. People who will laze about or go completely stir crazy. Some of us will get things accomplished with uninterrupted time at home, not being tempted to go out and enjoy a drink at the local pub or attend that festival downtown. Most of us will have no motivation to move, and will become comatose in front of the TV or locked to our computers. Let's face it, feet of snow outside, freezing temperatures, and gray skies are not conditions for any kind of energy.
That's unless you are the guy riding the snowmobile down my street (hats off to him for getting out of his jammies).
