Simcoe (New Albanian Brewing Company)

I enjoyed this APA on tap whilst sitting in the communist corner of the Public House. It was made...surprise with simcoe hops.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was straw colored with white bubbly head. It had some lacing as I drank it down. I could smell the hops. Earthy, pine, hops.

Taste: It was very sappy. I'm really liking sappy. The hops were very earthy. The sappiness of it balanced out the hops pretty well. It was smooth and drinkable with all the hoppy-goodness I wanted and needed.

This was part of their single malt and single hop APA series. They used Rahr Pale and and Simcoe hops. It was matched up against a Chinook hop APA. This brew won the challenge.
