Brew Haven Taste: Maple Pecan (Samuel Adams)

I tried this porter just to try something different at the Brew Haven Beerfest. The scoop was that SA brought these three special beers to see which one people liked best and they'd sell that one. Didn't vote, and not sure you'll ever see this on the shelf.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was a brown porter with little bubbly head. The maple smell was strong enough to come through over the general fest smells.

Taste: It tasted like a watery porter. The maple came through, but wasn't sticky. The pecan came through in a barely noticeable (to me) nutty taste that I was looking for. Not sure I'd try this again because the porter side of it was not what I like in a porter.
