Raging Bitch (Flying Dog Brewery)

Happy IPA Day folks! I normally don't drink and post, but for this festive faux-holiday I wanted to get this Belgian-Style IPA post in.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This brew is amber-ish. It had a good frothy head when I poured it from the bottle. I smell earthy hops and malt. It has a bit of fine lacing clinging to the glass.

Taste: First taste was bitter and sweet at the same time. It's piney and sappy and strong. It has a perky bitter aftertaste that is making some of my tastebuds stand up. I almost want to say something fruity is going on with that sap. Tasty brew, worth the attention.

From the Flying Dog bottle:
Two inflammatory words...one wild drink. Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. Let it out. It is cruel to keep a wild animal locked up. Uncap it. Release it...stand back!! Wallow in its golden glow in a glass beneath a white foaming head. Remember, enjoying a RAGING BITCH, unleashed, untamed, unbridled—and in heat—is pure GONZO!! It has taken 20 years to get to get from there to here. Enjoy!
