Three Dollar Joey (Greenbush Brewing Company)

This was another lab brew that was available the same weekend as the Joe's Pepper Plum Pie. I cannot pass up tamarindo, and the tamarind/ginger combo seemed interesting.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This ale was brown with a bubbly head. The smell of tamarind really came through; it smelled like dark tart fruit.

Taste: This was light in consistency and juicy. The tang from the fruit and the bite from the ginger get you at the same time. The ginger lingers. This was a good combination of unique flavors while still being beer. The tamarind and ginger were not overpowering, they just enhanced the beer a bit.
