The Saison Also Rises (Haymarket)
I enjoyed a glass of this traditional saison from the tap at Haymarket Pub & Brewery. These are my quick notes.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was gold with a white head. It left lacing on the glass.
Taste: I tasted the Belgian yeast. For a noble hopped brew, this was bitter. It had the bitterness and lightness of a traditional saison. Very good. I'd drink it again.
My menu picture wasn't clear enough, and it's not on the Haymarket site. You'll just have to guess what they said about it...
