#9 (Magic Hat)
In all the times I've had this. I never thought to write about it. I guess I just assumed I had. It's one of your everyday beers. A beer you'd take to a party. A beer you'd recommend to friends. It's pretty widely available. Chances are if a bar has Magic Hat on tap, it's this "not quite pale ale".
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This was gold beer with a thin white head. The glass was too frosted for that chilly FL winter night.
Taste: It had a lightly malty sweetness. Light hops. This is a brew you can drink all night.
From the Magic Hat site:
#9 — Not Quite Pale Ale
A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.
