Headwaters (Victory)
This pale ale was on tap at the last stop of our haunted pub crawl. We were allowed to enter the basement of this pub pizzeria where some people reported mysterious activities. I've had good experience with Victory, so ordering this to go with my midnight snack was an easy pick.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This gold brew had a thick white head. I couldn't smell much over the pizza. It had thick white lacing (see picture).
Taste: It was a little metallic, not sure if it was the lines or brew. It was a bit piney. Other than that odd metal, it wasn't bad. I'll have to try it again.
From the Victory site:
Our brewery is blessed with exceptionally pure water that travels just over a dozen wooded miles to reach our brewery. With this pristine water we have transformed floral American hops and subtle, crisp German malts into a refreshing delight.
