Vanderbush (Greenbush)

For this cider beer, Greenbush teamed up with the hard cider makers at Vander Mill. I generally only keep notes for beer, but this past summer I had a noteworthy cider from Vander Mill. So when I saw this brew, I couldn't pass it up.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This cloudy gold brew had a thin-ish white head that stuck around. It had a strong apple aroma. This was not beer with a touch of apple, this was a hard cider beer. I could tell that by smell alone.

Taste: This was a nice thick brew. The acid from the apple lifts it up and makes it taste lighter. The grainy earthiness adds that nice layer of complexity to this brew. The beer-ness wasn't masked by all the apple.
