Van Horn (Half Acre)

This is the last post from my first trip to the Half Acre tap room. This is was and English bitter that seemed like it might be a good go-to beer. Mr. K ordered a snifter, I took a few healthy sips and got his take so I could make notes for reference the next time it's available.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This dark brown brew had a dense off-white head.

Taste: It was very bitter, as most of their brews are. This didn't have that typical, special ESB yeast flavor. It was a nice English brew. A standard, drinkable ale. I'd recommend it. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I'd get it if it was available.

From the Half Acre menu:
Like a fake British accent, this is a beer you can chew on all day.
