The End of Reason (Gigantic Brewing Company)
A rainy evening is a good time to catch up on some beer notes. This one was from earlier this summer.
This Belgian Quadrupel was from the tap at Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar. This spot has some pretty rare brews on tap. Not sure how rare Gigantic is, but I've never heard of them. Maria's is a good spot to step away from Chicago/Indiana brews for an evening.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This beer was incredibly dark brown with a red tint in the light. It had a ring of bubbles for head. It smelled like sugar and grain.
Taste: It was grainy and dry. It was a good beer. A beer to savor. Like a fine wine. I'd have to try it again.
