25 Drinks: 8 Maids-a-Milking

For December 5, the homemade advent booze box gave me this year's 12 Days of Christmas offering by The Bruery. I do believe that a few of the earlier Days of Christmas releases are hidden in the box.

This milk stout was creamy, chocolatey, and super rich. It was definitely a winter warmer. There was a hint of roasty spice. The Belgian yeast gave it another layer of sweetness and spice. It added to the complexity of flavor.

Rich milk stouts are a great drink for December. They go with holiday treats, but can stand alone as a rich dessert.
