This beauty is something worth savoring.

It's definitely a notable brew. It's a delicious Belgian Strong fermented in a Journeyman Ravenswood Rye barrel.

The aroma is caramel, brown sugar, date. Candied dates, but not too candied to lose the earthy complexity.

The taste matched the aroma. It's so figgy and delicious. I had a fig walnut cake last night and this is bringing up memories. It's so rich and boozy. Warming without the burn. It's dessert. I want to make soap out of this. I want to reduce it and pour it on ice cream. I want this to last forever.
