Spruce Springsteen (Bergenhus)

I'm writing this post in Bergen listening to the rain, James Brown, and a chattering child. I'm watching the passersby briskly walking with their umbrellas around the Bergen Havn. Some are ducking into the modern fish market. I'm above the commotion at the Bryggeriet Mikrobryggeri looking into the harbor.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This spruce-bittered APA was golden with a white bubbly head that dissipates. It smelled like biscuit malt or some sort of pale malt. It's woody... It's bittered with spruce after all!

Taste: It's malty balanced with a woody dryness. It sits well on the tongue. It makes me want an herbaceous cheese.
