Belgian Dubbel (Cumberland Brewing)
I had this small-batch dubbel at Cumberland after having a little taste.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: I was brownish with a solid head. I could smell the grain and malty sugars right off. I could smell very light floral hops and brown sugar.
Taste: Very light hops. Brown sugar and caramel. It was a little boozy for 8%, but smooth. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Standard Belgian, but nicely done. Not too sweet. Pretty balanced.
The Cumberland site is pretty minimal. No fancy descriptions.
