Hubbard and Cravens Porter (Thr3e Wise Men)
I got this beer on tap at Thr3e Wise Men in Indy. Judging by the name, it is brewed with coffee beans from a local coffee company.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was a dark brown to black with a white-tan frothy head that sticks. I could smell the roasted malt and coffee aroma.
Taste: I could taste the malt. It tasted like a standard roasted porter. It had the bitter sweetness of a porter. It was very rich and nice in the mouth, but not super complex or strong. It was good. I'd drink it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
From the Thr3e Wise Men site:
Color: Dark brown
ABV: 5.00%
IBU: 32
Features: coffee from hubbard & cravens in Indianapolis, Indiana
