Part 2: A Flight at the Original Munchie Emporium

This was my first visit to Mad Anthony. Since this wasn't a pub in my area, and I can't gradually taste their brews, I tried the taster line-up to get an idea of what they have to offer.

Blueberry Ale
Look and Smell: Light brown with a purplish tint. It had a white foam ring with lacing. It smelled like blueberries and honey.
Taste: It was a very light beer (consistency). It tasted like natural blueberries; I got a tartness with the sweet. It had a light honey aftertaste. It is what it is, a fruit beer. A tasty beverage though.
From the menu: Nothing on the menu. This was in place of their raspberry brew.

Summer Daze
Look and Smell: This seasonal wheat was yellow-gold. It had a white foam around the rim, and had lots of lacing.
Taste: It was grainy and light. The wheat came though. It was good-quality wheat. There was a sweetness in the middle of the taste.
From the menu: A delicious golden nectar brewed with a hypnotic blend of wheat, honey,  caramel malt, and various natural aromatics. This annual ale is substantial in character yet remains light, crisp, and refreshing.
ABV: 5.5%  IBU: 12

'Harry Baal's' Irish Stout
Look and Smell: It had a nice coffee-colored head that stuck around for a while. This black brew had moderate lacing. It smelled like coffee.
Taste: It tasted like iced coffee. There was a slight chocolate to it. It wasn't super creamy, but a full-bodied consistency. It was sugary on my lips.
From the menu: A classic Irish Stout. It is a dry, roasty, black, ale poured from our special nitrogen tap for a smooth creamy head.
ABV: 4.2%  IBU: 30
