Eugene (Revolution)

I was in a roasty mood and ordered a pint of this porter from the tap at Revolution Brewing.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This dark brown/black brew had a thick, off-white head. I could smell the roast without sticking my face in it. It had thick lacing as I drank it down.

Taste: Bitter roast was the taste. It was thick enough. It was a standard porter fairing on the bitter side (not sweet). It got better as it warmed. Not crave-able for me, but I'd order it again. They top their chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream made from this porter...and that was quite tasty!

From the Revolution site:
A striking, robust porter full of warmth and chocolate malt.
