Spice of Life: Simcoe (Sixpoint Craft Ales)

Brooklyn's Sixpoint Craft Ales has started distribution in Indiana. Beer Geeks, a good local pub, had a launch party with six of their brews on tap. This single-hop IPA was showcasing the Simcoe hop.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This was a really cloudy almost yellow brew. It had a stiff, thick, white head. I could smell piney hops. It left thick lacing as I drank it.

Taste: The hops were pretty bitter, yet smooth. It had a slight acidity to it. The aftertaste was super hopped too. It had a very thick consistency. I drank this pretty fast though. The hoppiness or thickness of this brew didn't slow me down. This was more of a winter brew than the warrior-hopped version.
