Spice of Life: Warrior (Sixpoint Craft Ales)
Brooklyn's Sixpoint Craft Ales has started distribution in Indiana. Beer Geeks, a good local pub, had a launch party with six of their brews on tap. This single-hop IPA was showcasing the Warrior hop.
General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was a pretty clear gold. It had a medium, frothy, white head. I smelled more citrus than wood. It left moderate lacing as I drank it.
Taste: This was a much lighter consistency than the simcoe-hopped version. The bitterness just rolled all over my tongue. I really liked this one. It was bitter, but not in a mouth-dulling way. It was crisp. Quite enjoyable.
I can't find anything about this series on the Sixpoint site. I did not get a full shot of the menu.
