Bockenweiz (Hunter's Brewing)

Back to another string of Hunter's brew notes. This Weizenbock was a good expansion of their growing recipe list. The tap room was a little more crowded this visit. Hunter's had a spread in the local Duneland Today magazine and locals were in checking it out. So we got beer and entertainment.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: This brown brew had a solid tan head that settled to a ring. It smelled a little fruity.

Taste: This tasted like a sweet nectar. It was a little melon-y. It was really nice and unexpected. It was better than the banana-heavy weizen or other dark-fruity bocks. It was substantial and refreshing.
