25 Drinks: Classic Holiday Nog

The homemade boozy advent calendar had a surprise for December 20, a note about nog. Growing up, I was not a fan of eggnog, but once I started having the really good stuff and the homemade stuff, my holiday isn't complete without a few rich glasses. When I don't make it myself (recipe), I try to get my hands on the eggnog from Trader's Point Creamery. It's a dairy farm just north of Indianapolis. It's creamy, it's rich, it's wholesome. It's made with milk and cream from grassfed cows (ooooh ahhh) and fresh eggs from their farm. Melted ice cream, enough said. Add some Maker's Mark to the equation a bit of freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon on the top, and you have a decadent treat.
