25 Drinks: Dreaming of a Black Christmas

Day 15 was Devil Trumpet's Black Mastermind. We picked it up on one of our twice a year visits. They are a local nanobrewery with decent beer and a patio, but for some reason we only make it out there once every so often. We saw this barrel-aged beauty on the shelf and saved it for a rainy day....or snowy one.

This brew has many flavors of the holiday. Cinnamon spice, vanilla, Baker's chocolate, brown sugar. The oatmeal of it all gives it a baked treat feel. The booziness makes it a warmer for sure. Another one you can't get in the stores, but you can grab New Holland's The Poet at many local shops.
