Wee Mac (Sun King)

I've had this Scottish-style ale at brew fests, on tap and in cans. Though you might not be able to tell based on number of notes, I'm partial to Scottish ales. It's hard to find many great ones in a market saturated with IPA, RIS, and wheats. But I've found some real goodies. My favorite Scottish ale, McEwan's is gone (they say it was a fire). Robert the Bruce and Kilt Lifter are great go-to brews.

General Thoughts
Look and Smell: It was a dark red with an off-white head that settled to a ring. It smelled very grainy, as a good Scotch ale should!

Taste: It was a lighter brew than I remembered. It had a grainy aftertaste. It's a good Scotch ale. Not in the list of my favorites, but if it was on tap, I'd get it.
